Glycolic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that is a naturally occurring substance found in sugar cane and grapes. Glycolic has the smallest molecular size of all the AHA’s allowing for a deep penetration into the skin, making it adaptable and beneficial for collagen production and promising to clear the pores and smooth the skin!

Glycolic Gel Peels are the perfect choice for a Skin Peel, and the Kit comes complete with a Pre-Peel Primer (balances and prepare the skin prior to application) and the Post-Peel neutralizer (safely and quickly neutralizes the peel and restores the skins natural pH) enhancing the effects of the treatment and providing a safe and effective resurfacing treatment without the downtime of a more invasive peel.

The fan brush provided also will give an even coverage of the gel peel, and your order includes a complete and detailed instruction card for safe and effective application.

The higher percentage of a skin peel does not necessarily give you a better result. The pH of the product will also alter the effects on the treatment. Our products are pH balanced for efficacy, whilst minimising any irritation and discomfort.

High percentages with low pH levels are best left for the professionals!

The goal is to exfoliate, clear and refine the skin in a controlled manner and results can take time. Your skin will look and feel cleaner, softer and plumper immediately following your first application, however we suggest weekly or fortnightly treatments for a minimum of six treatments for optimum results as our Glycolic Gel Peels are cumulative and the previous application enhances the next.
